The service was amazing! Our server explained the menu to us and even helped us cook the food. This was our first time trying Thai BBQ and we really really liked it. The marinated rib eye was our favorite, especially with the tamarind sauce. Will definitely be back!

Really interesting experience and nice ambiance gave me the feeling of being transported to thailand. The meats were good and the sauces were delicious, but the grill/hot pot combo required some finesse due to how small the surface area is, esp for the hot pot section. The meat juices dripping into the soup gives great flavor although when the grill gets changed out the soup gets taken too :( Service was mostly prompt and friendly.

My boyfriend and I shared one of the sets are were quite full by the end of it. The food was good but the Thai tea was questionable. The dipping sauces were addicting! They have a lot more on their menu than just meat. The other guest sounded very happy during their meal and sounded like regulars. My only complaint about this place is that our plates/ sauce dish was dirty and there's a thin layer of grease or oil on a lot of things.

Love this place so much. I recently came back from Bangkok and Chiangmai in Thailand and this place is legit. The tom yum fried rice is SO good - you'll just want more of it. The papaya salad is flavorful and authentic (spicy if you choose!). The servers are super friendly and welcoming. We usually prefer the meat options over the seafood and the sauces are delicious. It can get a bit crowded at the table with all the dishes but you'll manage. All the ingredients are fresh. Check in on Yelp for a free Thai tea as well! Highly recommend this place for a great experience of Thai hot pot & BBQ.

Make a reservation for the Charcoal experience! We came on a Friday night, still had seating but on a removable stovetop. Service was friendly but a little short staffed, had to wave down staff. We got the chef combo, plenty of food for two and fair priced! Will def go back again with reservations! CHECK IN ON YELP: free Thai tea!

Visited on a Saturday around 5:30PM with a friend and were seated promptly. The restaurant had a few other guests but a fair amount of open spaces although some were held for reservations. When we left around 7pm, the restaurant was pretty full, would recommend coming early or making a reservation. Drinks: Beer, soju, and non alcoholic options - we grabbed beers which paired well with the food Food: Chef's Choice BBQ set for 2 - came with a great variety of pork belly, chicken, steak, squid, shrimp, fish balls, fish cake, napa cabbage, carrots, greens, mushrooms, shredded cabbage, order garlic rice and glass noodles for our starches of choice and broth for hot pot. Servers set up the grill and hot pot, then it's DIY cooking from there which was really fun to go from BBQ to hot back and back and forth. The sauce that came with the meal were fantastic, a Thai BBQ sauce, a green Chile garlic herb, and a tamarind sauce. These added complexity and depth and paired great with the proteins and veggies. Service was great, friendly and welcoming, servers check in on our table throughout the meal and it was fairly quick turnaround. Overall really enjoyed the experience, great variety and selection and it was so much fun to have BBQ and hot pot in one meal. Highly recommend giving this spot a try.

WOW... like seriously... why is there not more of this style of thai food?! It's so fun, yet also delicious and VERY reasonably priced! Right as you step into the restaurant, it gives off such a bright energy from the Thai music that they blast and the cool designs on the walls. Then, you walk towards the back dining room and there's a bunch of tables with giant holes in the middle, which would later be filled with a charcoal grill. For a party of four, we first started off with a Large CYO Muukata and an extra side of beef tongue. Their menu options were so interesting that we couldn't resist but order several other items, like the papaya salad with salted egg and corn, korat noodles, and tom yum fried rice with shrimp. Everything was SUPER delicious and we finished it all except for half of the fried rice, which we took home. The sauce options they offered were all tasty and complemented the food very well! Oh, we also checked in on yelp and got a free thai iced tea (even that tasted delicious and not diluted at all). Our total (after including the tax and tip) was $150, which I think was quite good (considering it's SF). Overall, I would highly recommend this place, especially if you are down to try something different from the usual fare! Only thing is, I wish they offered better options for dessert!

First time going to a Thai bbq restaurant. The Thai fried rice was bomb! The bbq itself was slime your typical kbbq places where you grill raw meat. There's a little rim of boiling water around the grill to boil veggies. The service was engaging and it felt like the staff wants to be there!

I've been wanting to go here for such a long time !!! I came last week for an early dinner ! We made reservations but probably didn't need to because it was a weekday . I think on a weekend night it would definitely be more crowded . If you want to guarantee a table at a grill then make reservations . I love how the restaurant is designed it felt like I was transported back to a street in Bangkok . We ordered the two person bbq/ hot pot set . We got the scallops , pork belly, marinated pork (super delish ), marinated rib eye ( super delish ) , an extra order of rib eye . And a side order of intestines . Wear clothes that you don't mind smelling !!! The charcoal smell is very strong and permeates the air . The only thing I didn't like is that the hot pot ring is very small but I guess that's just how it is designed . The soup ends up being very tasty because all of the fat from the meat drips into the soup . You also have a choice of sticky rice, garlic rice , or noodles with your bbq/ hot pot set . We chose garlic rice and sticky rice . Next time I'd probably stick with garlic rice . I loved the food here , it was all super tasty and it was a good amount of meat / veggies for two people . I liked the green sauce more than the red sauce but both were tasty with the rice and meats . You have to come here if you are looking to try Thai bbq/hot pot, it might be more fun to come with a larger group so you can order more food .

Ambiance - 5/5 Cozy little restaurant with not much seating and cute Thai decor/colors. It feels intimate and a breathe of fresh air from the usual nightclub themed kbbq places. If you plan to have a weekend dinner here, I would recommend making a reservation! Service - 5/5 Amazing service! The workers are always so nice and genuinely friendly. They come over to check on you and your grill often but not excessively. Food - 5/5 "broke my scale" lol but in all seriousness, the meats you get from the grill/hot pot set are incredible. Deliciously marinated and super tender. Tastes heavenly after a little charcoal grill with sticky rice and their house-made tamarind sauce. The rib-eye is a must-try! Generous portions as well. I also enjoy dipping the meats in the hot pot side, it gives the proteins a nice mild flavor and plumpness. MuuKaTa6395 is by far my favorite find in a couple of years, I've already been gone back 3 times in 2 months! If you love hot pot and kbbq, please do yourself a favor and try this spot out!!
